Ladies and Gentlemen!

We are back, and we are already working towards making your copies of Snowdonia Deluxe Master Set a reality! Here is a small bunch of what we've been up to since we came back from our holiday:

Firstly, we have already ordered the custom wooden pieces. As we said, there are literally millions of pieces we will need, so the production is already on the way. As a small bonus, we can also show you how some pieces will look with screen printing:

As you can see, we have decided to make the dynamite more historically accurate (as many of you did ask us to change the previous "bomb" shape). The screen printing on the dynamite is not final, but you can probably get the general idea of how custom wooden components will look with the printing.

Secondly, there is a lot of stuff that will come in the box, and we want to make sure that each set of cards (basically, each scenario) is easy to tear down and place in the right well of the box insert after the game. Here is how different scenarios will be marked on their cards:

Basically, you can expect simple colour coding and a two-letter code for each scenario (with an explanation in the rules), so that you can keep all your cards nice and tidy withing the insert.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

with just a few hours left in the Kickstarter, we have a bunch of very important things to tell you. Let's start with answering a question that seems to be coming back on a very regular basis. 

Is item X/Y/Z included in the Deluxe Master Set? 

Well, here's an answer from Kuba, our marketing manager:

So, just to make it super-clear: everything that existed for Snowdonia before this Kickstarter is going to be included in the Deluxe Master Set. EVERYTHING.

Secondly, we need to tell you mre about the solo automa, and here, we have two important announcements:

Solo Automa will be designed by Dávid Turczi!

Dávid is the designer of our recently Kickstarted Dice Settlers, and the solo mode for Daniele Tascini's Teotihuacan - our upcoming Essen Release, as well as multiple outstanding games, and single player modes. Short version: the automa will be awesome!

Solo Automa for every Seasoned Traveller!

Yes, we've made it happen. The solo mode will be shipped with every single copy of the Seasoned Traveller. But that's not all!

All print and play promos for every Deluxe Master Set and Seasoned Traveller!

To reinforce the EVERYTHING message, we're adding each and every promo ever created for Snowdonia. Basically, if you can find it on Snowdonia Central (or in Tony's drawer of finished Snodownia stuff), it will be a part of the Deluxe Master Set.

Why?

Because you have pushed this Kickstarter so much further than we could have expected. 

Live Goat Pledge!

One of you suggested (@Russonc) a live goat pledge, and... we are going to include it in the pledge manager. Yes! For a $100 000, you will be able to receive a Deluxe Master Set with a live goat delivered to your door! This is not a joke. We will do this!

Ladies & Gentlemen,  

This has been quite a ride! Thank you for turning Snowdonia Deluxe Master Set into such a success! Now the ball is in our court, and, as you suspected, we already have an action plan. Before we get into it, let's learn a phrase in Welsh which is very fitting at this time:

And now, let's go through our action plan step by step... 

1. Rest - this is the first thing we need to do, after quite a few sleepless nights of watching the campaign page :) 

2. Finalize and submit all the wooden components cut lines to the factory, so that they can immediately start preparing the complex tools needed to cut all our custom wooden pieces. This is in fact our top priority and the key to delivering on time. This process is time consuming, it needs a lot of feedback and - once completed - it ensures the rest of the production goes smoothly. 

3. After the wooden shapes are final, we will need to prepare the art for printing on the wooden pieces, but that is only after the final shapes are agreed upon and confirmed with the factory (otherwise we might simply waste time). 

4. Preparing and opening the pledge manager: we estimate that by 1-Sep the pledge manager will be open. We're aiming to open it as soon as possible, but beginning of September is a more realistic deadline, as our priorities go to production. In the pledge manager you will be able to fill in your delivery address (which will not be finalized until shipping time) and choose some add-ons, like an extra copy of the game, sleeves, etc. A final list of add-ons and details about them will come in an update just before the pledge manager opens. 

5. Finalize box, box sleeve and board art, so that our factory can start working on those as well during the fall. These are the first and most important steps we will take towards a timely completion of Snowdonia Deluxe Master Set. 

For the next 7 days we might be a bit silent, as we need to rest first, then focus on the tasks above. To somewhat sweeten the wait period, we want to announce one more thing: with the door almost closing, we got two more Designer Trains in: one from Alan Paull (Confucius, Mission Command) and Jeroen Doumen (co-designer of games like Food Chain Magnate,  Antiquity, The Great Zimbabwe and many more published by Splotter Spellen).

Ladies and Gentlemen!

We have recently unlocked yet another Stretch Goal, which in turned unveiled the end of our Stretch Goal list. Yes, it's true, these are all the Stretch Goals we had... but it's not everything we had, because we have one quite big announcement. And here it is:

We have talked to every single person who owns those special promos, and managed to receive consent from each and every one, to put the six cards we've been missing (the Battlepuppy Express used to be a single, double-sided card) in the Snowdonia Deluxe Master Set. This means that from now on...

Snowdonia Deluxe Master Set includes every card ever printed!

Before we go further, we'd like to give you the names of the generous folks who allowed us to add the cards to our version of Snowdonia:

• The Battlepuppy Express (both sides) owned by Andrew Smith

They are all supporters of worthy causes, and true fans of Snowdonia. We are very happy that they allowed us to reprint the cards they own, so - to keep the ones they have absolutely unique - we will make small modifications according to their wishes. However, each card will work the same way, and will keep its name. Each of these promos will also receive its separate entry, giving you more details on its original print, owner and purpose.

Finally, please note that the charity promo cards are not a Stretch Goal - it's something we simply want you to have because you're awesome!

The 48 hour mark - a summary for those returning...

The last 48 hours are upon us! For those tuning in now after a longer absence, we have unlocked:

• 4 new scenarios (for a total of 5), 3 by Tony Boydell, 1 by Matthew Dunstan, and 1 by Hisashi Hayashi, 
• a bunch of awesome designer trains, as well as 24 of the previous print and play trains
• upgraded components (better quality cards, screen printing on the 33 new custom wooden tokens), 
• a double-sided board (with one side being a slightly updated original board by Klemens Franz)
• a selective varnish on the game box, and a box sleeve with a new, alternative art
• added a special Tie Die which will help those of you who hate tied games
• the charity promo cards - thanks to the great generosity of their owners

This means that Snowdonia Deluxe Master Set now includes each and every expansion and promo ever published for Snowdonia! This amazing community of backers has made it all possible.
